Return & Decommissioning Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026 · Spiderweb Advertising LLC (U.S. Registered LLC)
Spiderweb Advertising LLC provides dedicated advertising operations, Business Manager setups, API integration, and billing infrastructure to businesses and marketing teams. We do not sell or ship physical manufactured goods. Consequently, standard retail merchandise return procedures do not apply. This Return & Decommissioning Policy governs the formal return, transfer, and graceful shutdown of digital deliverables, provisioned ad environments, and unspent media capital.
01. Scope of “Returns” for Digital Infrastructure
In the context of enterprise advertising operations, a “return” refers to the orderly resolution and handback of client-owned assets, financial balances, and configured workspaces upon the expiration, completion, or authorized termination of a Statement of Work (SOW):
Financial Return
100% remittance of verified unspent ad-spend balances to the originating corporate bank account.
Asset Handover
Transition of conversion tracking pixels, CAPI endpoints, and client-owned domains back to client control.
Credential Purge
Revocation of API tokens, dedicated workspace access, and secure sanitization of client payment profiles.
02. Return of Unspent Ad Spend Capital
Spiderweb Advertising LLC treats client media capital with strict custodial fidelity. Clients who pre-fund ad spend or maintain operational billing buffers are entitled to a complete return of all unspent funds:
- 100% Net Balance Return: All capital received for ad spend that was not consumed by ad network delivery (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) is fully refundable upon completion of account reconciliation.
- Clearing & Reconciliation Protocol: Due to platform delayed attribution windows, impression clearing, and network billing thresholds, final unspent calculations require 5 to 14 business days following the cessation of all active campaigns.
- Direct Return Channel: All funds are returned directly to the client's originating commercial bank account via wire transfer or ACH. In compliance with AML regulations, funds cannot be returned to third-party accounts or alternative entities.
03. 4-Phase Workspace Decommissioning Protocol
When an operational engagement is concluded, our operations team follows a structured 4-phase decommissioning procedure to protect both client intellectual property and network integrity:
All active ad sets and delivery campaigns are paused. Spending thresholds are locked to prevent inadvertent charges during the platform clearing cycle.
Client-owned assets (such as pixel IDs, CAPI gateway servers, and verified custom domains) are released and transferred to the client's primary Business Manager workspace.
Dedicated workspace connections, automated operational scripts, and shared system-user tokens are revoked and unlinked to prevent lingering network calls.
A comprehensive closure statement is issued showing final spend logs, invoice adjustments, and confirmation of unspent balance disbursement.
04. Data Sanitization & Record Retention
Upon completion of the offboarding process, Spiderweb Advertising LLC applies strict data hygiene standards:
- Credential Destruction: All temporary authentication tokens, API keys, and credential vaults provisioned during the engagement are permanently destroyed.
- Regulatory Recordkeeping: Financial transaction records, signed SOW agreements, and KYC audit trails are retained for seven (7) years in accordance with federal tax, banking, and statutory compliance obligations.
- Confidentiality: Non-disclosure covenants remain in full force following the return and decommissioning of any infrastructure, as specified in our Master Service Agreement.
